Almost 70,000 items will be taken from Nuneaton to the Ukraine border courtesy of the kindness of people from across the borough. As well as the phenomenal amount of donations, £4,000 has also been raised as well.
Staff from the The Holy Spirit Catholic Multi Academy (MAC) joined forces with volunteers to collect and box up all of the donations at St Thomas More School on Sunday (March 13). They were overwhelmed with the kindness shown from all walks of the community, from the schools within the MAC itself to businesses and individual donations.
