A meeting with U.S. Postal Service officials set for 5:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Oakland Community Center about the future of the Oakland Post Office has been canceled, according to Marilyn Strawhun, president of the Oakland Area Improvement Association, because she understood that changes are no longer under consideration.
