Old Dayton post office gets upgrade

The building at 400 Main St. in Dayton, which previously was home to the Dayton Post Office and currently houses the city water and electric billing departments, is in need of extensive repairs and the Dayton City Council voted to contract with Allen and Hoshall, a Memphis engineering firm, for repairs on the building during on its regular monthly session on Monday.
