Automation software provider, OneVision, has announced the appointment of Paul Franklin as its new sales director for the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics.
Franklin joins the software company with over 35 years in the printing industry. He most recently worked for Domino Printing as its UK and Ireland inkjet business development manager. Other previous experience includes at Scodix, Kongsberg, and Konica Minolta.
OneVision have made the appointment as part of a goal to increase its scope in the UK and Ireland region. Speaking about Franklin’s appointment, OneVision say: “We are delighted to have someone on the ground in the UK and Ireland region.”
Speaking about his appointment on LinkedIn, Franklin comments: “This new role marks an exciting chapter.
“Press and system landscapes have become more diverse than ever in recent years. This makes true end-to-end solutions essential for success. Automation addresses the challenge of skills shortages. It also unlocks the full potential of high-speed presses by streamlining file preparation and eliminating bottlenecks.”
In his statement, Franklin also speaks about his excitement of joining the OneVision team, adding: “I am looking forward to joining a dynamic team, building strong partnerships, and helping print businesses across the UK and the Nordics achieve their goals through automation.”
OneVision offer full servicing for its portfolio of automation solutions, with the goal of helping print businesses on the “road to automation”. This includes workflow consultation, installation, and implementation of the software, as well as professional training and support.
OneVision will be attending this year’s Hunkeler Innovationdays along with a range of other players in the print industry. At the event, OneVision will showcase a range of modular automation solutions designed to seamlessly integrate production processes.
The company’s Stations software will be demonstrated at the trade show, which integrates manual tasks and analogue machines into digital workflows. The solution has been developed to minimise errors with step-by-step instructions, real-time feedback, and status updates.
