Opus Trust Communications has appointed a former Royal Mail senior manager as its new head of customer relationships and development.
Danijel Karadza started in the newly created role at the Leicester-headquartered group last Tuesday (6 April).
With 15 years of experience in senior client management, strategy development and sales generation, Karadza will use his experience to further enhance client relationships at senior level, enabling Opus to support the digital ambitions of its clients.
Opus Trust sales and marketing director Richard Farmer said: “I am delighted to welcome Danijel to the team. He is a great example of the high quality of people that we are attracting.
“We are committed to ensuring each of our clients benefit from the greater efficiencies, cost-savings and profitability which can be achieved by utilising our OpusCX communication platform.
“Danijel’s understanding of channel choice, coupled with his industry experience in operations, marketing and sales, will see him become an invaluable asset to our clients.”
Karadza added: “Joining a forward-thinking organisation that embraces change, adopts new technologies and strives to deliver operational excellence is extremely exciting for me.
“Having worked across key industry sectors for over a decade, I’ve seen first-hand just how valuable an agile and adaptable approach can be, especially when operating in such a fast-paced and competitive marketplace.
“I am looking forward to calling upon my own expertise to strengthen the passion and commitment Opus Trust already shows to its clients and their customers.
“I strongly believe that collaboration is the key to success, and this will form a key part of my role in helping Opus Trust continue to be the partner of choice in critical communications.”
Opus Trust recently secured a five-year contract with Water Plus to be its sole provider for customer bills and other account information and updates.
The business has also recently won a new three-year contract with online retailer Freemans Grattan Holdings (FGH), which went live in November.
In late 2019 the group acquired print and mailing business Critiqom. It followed that in summer 2020 with the takeover of customer communications management specialist DocCentrics.
The business also invested £4m into its internal IT functions last year, and became the first UK company to join Quadient’s ‘Digital Now’ programme.
It currently employs 187 people across its three sites with a combined turnover of £44m.
