Lowe & Oliver, an electrical and mechanical contractors and building services of Cumnor Road, Oxford, received an early Christmas present by making it onto the list of the King’s appointed companies in December for its commitment to “exceptional services”.
The family-run business is celebrating its 100 year anniversary this year, during which time its completed projects on some Britain’s most iconic buildings across the public and private sector.

Director Fred Lowe said: “Receiving this Royal Warrant is not only a prestigious honour, but a significant endorsement of the high standards we uphold in every project we undertake.
“Its a wonderful tribute to our skilled craftsman, past and present, who work tirelessly to ensure we exceed the expectations and deliver the exceptional level of electrical and mechanical services we are well known for nationally.
“With the recent investment we have made in our apprenticeship scheme, we hope to pass these skills on to the next generation within the company.”
The Royal Warrant recognises the commitment to excellence and quality in delivering services to the Royal Household.

It is a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to the monarch and gives them the authority to use the Royal Arms.
Company chairman Paul Tuson said: “Having just celebrated a century in the industry, an achievement almost unheard of in our sector, this is the perfect finish to another successful year.
“Its a very proud moment for the Lowe & Oliver team.”
