The Royal in Wallingford, a pub, restaurant and inn, has announced it will reopen its food and drink offering this Friday, October 10.
Its bar and restaurant was unexpectedly closed over the summer for what the venue described as “a little breather”, although its rooms remained opened throughout and The Royal welcomed guests as usual.

The St Mary’s Street pub will kick things off with a pop-up food provider and live music from homegrown musician Sam Lamden.
The performer has more than 15 years of stage experience, including at this year’s Bunkfest in August, and he delights audiences with stripped-back acoustic covers of popular songs.
