Paige has not ruled out a sensational return to wrestling at WWE’s upcoming Royal Rumble.

The Norwich-born star, who had a film made about her life story in 2019 called Fighting with My Family, has been retired from wrestling due to a neck injury since April 2018.

But there has been speculation that the 27-year-old could make a return to action as part of the women’s Rumble, which will take place on January 26.

And when she was asked about her possible participation by Sportsmail as part of WWE’s promotion for their move to BT Sport in the UK, she said: ‘People keep asking me about that.

‘I think it’s because I put out the tweet about 2020 being big for me. We’ll have to wait and see.’

When it was put to her that it would be a big shock, she joked about not wanting to spoil it and added: ‘It would be massive, but then it wouldn’t be a surprise!’

Women’s wrestling has exploded since Paige hung up her boots and there are a number of dream matches fans would love to see.

She has her own list: ‘You’d want to face the top person in the company and obviously that would be Becky, so I’d want to face her.

‘There’s so many. I’d want to face Rhea Ripley. I’d want to face Candace. All the four Horsewomen.

‘I’d want to face everyone, bring them all on.’
