Pair ‘tried to extort £50,000 from royal with secret tapes’ (Independent)

Two men attempted to extort £50,000 from a member of the Royal Family by threatening to release sound recordings containing claims that he performed oral sex on a male aide and was guilty of “impropriety” in the way he ran his business, a court heard yesterday.
