Palace Confidential expands royal coverage

The Palace Confidential YouTube series is expanding, launching a brand-new newsletter and making its debut on Spotify.

Since launching in 2020, Palace Confidential says it has offered royal insights and discussions that only the Daily Mail can provide.

The weekly show – hosted by Jo Elvin – has performed well on YouTube. The channel’s half-a-million subscribers have viewed all episodes a staggering 260,000,000 times, added the publisher.

By making the show available on Spotify – both as video and audio-only – it gives the audience more flexibility in how they watch or listen to the content they love, the publisher continued.

Subscribers will get more curated and premium content with a new Palace Confidential newsletter packed with extras, from rarely seen archive images of the royals to polls and trivia questions.

According to the Daily Mail, readers will also get the chance to ask royal experts – Rebecca English, Richard Eden, Richard Kay and Robert Hardman – anything they’ve wanted to know about the monarchy.

Regular panellist and the author of the newsletter, the Mail’s diary editor Richard Eden says: “This is really exciting.

“I love interacting with our readers and viewers and this gives us a chance to do even more of that.”

Creator and executive producer of Palace Confidential, Luke Blackall added: “It’s been fantastic watching Palace Confidential find a huge global audience.

“These exciting new plans will not only help us grow the show’s reach but also brings our loyal fans more choice as to how they consume their Royal news.”

The Palace Confidential newsletter will be delivered straight to inboxes every Thursday. Palace Confidential is now streaming on Spotify, with past episodes also available for catch-up listening.
