Philips Fourth-Quarter Profit Doubles on Stake Sales (Update1) (Bloomberg.com)

Jan. 21 (Bloomberg) — Royal Philips Electronics NV, the world’s biggest maker of light bulbs and electric shavers, said fourth-quarter profit doubled, beating analysts’ estimates, on gains from selling Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. shares.
