Anne DeFeo of Arlington had found ways to compensate for her vision loss for 51 years. Then she noticed several fellow senior citizens at Perkins School for the Blind with guide dogs and decided to get one of her own. Now 73, DeFeo said it was one of the best decisions she’s ever made.
