Policewoman accidentally fires her gun at the Royal Queensland Show with the bullet tearing through the ceiling of a pavilion
A police officer accidentally fired her gun at the Royal Queensland Show.
The junior police officer wrapped a lanyard around her Glock pistol and it fired when she put it back in her holster, 7 News reported.
The bullet flew through the ceiling of the RACQ Pavilion but no one was hurt.

The incident took place at the Ekka over the weekend but only came to light on Thursday.
The police officer is now under investigation.
‘A single round unintentionally discharged as the weapon was being handled during standard shift change over procedures,’ a Queensland Police spokeswoman said.
‘This matter is subject to review including whether correct QPS protocols and procedures were followed.’
A spokeswoman for the Ekka declined to comment.
Up to 400,000 people attend the Royal Queensland Show each year.
