Post box near Somerset village to be removed, Royal Mail confirms | The Somerset Leveller

A POST box in the Somerset countryside is set to be removed.

The Livermore Partnership, on behalf of Royal Mail Group, has notified Somerset Council it intends to remove the box at Charlynch Road/Mill Farm Hill, in Spaxton, near Bridgwater.

“The location is on publicly-owned land and does not fall within a conservation area,” the notification said.

Highways would be informed of works to remove the box in the “near future”, it added.
