A 59–year–old man who was seriously burned while sleeping inside the downtown Fairbanks post office on New Year's Day has died. A Fairbanks fire official says John Druck Wallis died Saturday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Wallis apparently had been sleeping in a post office hallway when he caught fire.
