RESIDENTS, an independent watchdog and politicians have slammed plans to close eight post offices in Newham. Branches in East Ham, Plaistow, Stratford, Forest Gate, Manor Park and Little Ilford are among those earmarked for closure under proposals announced by the Post Office.
