Post office collects ton of food

The Thomson Post Office collected 2,010 pounds of food during the national Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Each year, the National Association of Letter Carriers, in connection with the United States Postal Service, picks up non-perishable food items residents leave by their mailboxes.
