Post office named for prominent Champaign County attorney

(AP) — A post office has been named for a former U.S. attorney who was also Champaign County's first African-American state's attorney. Burgess was a commander of one of six African-American tank companies under General George Patton and fought in the infamous Battle of the Bulge.
