Post office seeks to end Saturday letter delivery

WASHINGTON — Faced with billions of dollars in losses, the U.S. Postal Service said Wednesday, Feb. 6, that it would seek to stop Saturday delivery of letters, a sweeping change that drew criticism from postal unions, businesses and lawmakers.
