Post office stabbing suspect wanted to cash in old stamps (Los Angeles Times)

Authorities say the man apparently was upset he couldn’t get money for his stamp sheets, and that he had no motive for killing a 73-year-old man who was picking up his mail. Prosecutors say the suspect in the fatal stabbing of a 73-year-old man at a Northern California post office may have been acting out of frustration when he couldn’t cash in old postage stamps.
