Post office to end Saturday home mail service in August

Routine delivery of mail on Saturdays will end beginning the week of Aug. 5 in a cost-cutting effort by the financially struggling U.S. Postal Service. However, post offices now open on Saturday will remain open, and packages and Express mail will be delivered.
