Postal strike due next week after Royal Mail reject ‘peace deal’ (The New Statesman)

A national postal strike is set to go ahead next week after Royal Mail failed to meet final union demands over jobs, pay and services. The Communication Workers Union said that after the failure of the “peace deal” they had “no option” but to strike.
