Postman fined £1000 for hiding letters (The Herald)

A stressed-out postman who hid more than 1500 letters he was meant to deliver has been fined £1000. Scott Hamilton, who told police he was a “good postie”, had warned bosses at Royal Mail that he was struggling to cope with his workload but his pleas were ignored.
