Ring doorbell footage has caught the disturbing moment that a postman stood by a person’s shoe rack and appears to take a sniff of a trainer.
Footage of what happened in Torry, an area of Aberdeen, at 11.25am yesterday, was shared to social media by mum-of-two Jade Mullen.
In the video he can be seen standing outside a flat shuffling through letters before he posts them through a letterbox.
But he then walks towards the shoe rack and then takes a pause before picking up a white trainer.
The postman then appears to sniff this before he walks off back down the stairs.
‘I would just like to let everyone know just to watch out for this postman, he tried to get our ring door bell off our door then turned around to sniff my daughters shoes – what an absolute creep,’ Jade posted.
People on social media responded to the video and one said: ‘I don’t think he’s sniffing the shoes. I think he’s looking at the size of them.’
Another said: ‘Wow that’s very weird behaviour.’
A third wrote: ‘What a creep! This is what our Great Britain has become.’
A fourth added: ‘Omg!! I hope you’ve reported this that’s terrible of him that’s very very strange behaviour.’
