Postman who stole mail avoids prison sentence (Scotland Today)

A Midlothian postman who hid more than 1500 letters he was meant to deliver has avoided a prison sentence. Scott Hamilton from Gorebridge said he had warned his bosses at Royal Mail that he was struggling to cope with his workload but his pleas were ignored.
