Pride of Britain Awards: Meet our second east nominee for Fundraiser of the Year 2019 | Meridian

Our next east nominee is Dale Howting from Sittingbourne.

He’s fondly known as the Whistling Postman from his days working for Royal Mail.

The 85-year-old has spent the last 42 years fundraising.

You’ll find Dale sitting in Sittingbourne collecting for good causes and spreading some community spirit, whatever the weather might be.
