Primark shopper claims £7 bag is ‘dupe’ for Prada item which costs 350 times more

A shopper claims her £7 Primark find is just as good as a Prada rival which costs more than 350 times as much.

Tikoker Perrie Sian reckons the shoulder bag she found at the discount clothes store is a perfect match for the designer’s £2,500 Cleo bag. Primark’s metallic silver shoulder bag is part of its festive range sold for the party season.

Perrie shared her find with her 341,000 TikTok followers, saying: “Guys I did some serious damage in Primark. I got some absolute little gems.

“First thing, I got this really cute little bag. This reminds me of the Prada Cleo bag, I think it’s a dupe. £7, just thought this would be so nice for like Christmas, festive nights out.”

Primark’s High Shine Shoulder Bag achieves the high-end look with “contrasting stitch detailing and a glossy finish”, the website states. It is a massive £2493 cheaper than Prada’s offering – that’s a 99.7% saving, BirminghamLive reports.

The bag is also available of metallic pink and metallic blue to match up with a range of outfits. Fashion influencer Perrie also picked up one of Primark’s viral £14 unitards, in her haul, telling followers: “One of my best Primark shops to date!!!!! I got so many good bits!!.” TikToker Emma Bisseker added: “You take my shopping addiction to a whole new level.”
