Prince Andrew Paid Big Bucks By Turkish Millionairess In Scam

British royal family news shows that days after his scorned appearance at Prince Philip’s memorial service, new data about disgraced Prince Andrew’s financial affairs has come to light.

The intel surfaced in high court documents which show that, “Prince Andrew has become embroiled in a legal riddle over a £750,000 payment from a Turkish millionairess,” according to the Daily Mail.

The High Court case arrives just one month after Prince Andrew agreed to an out-of-court settlement to make a civil lawsuit against him go away. In August Virginia Roberts brought a civil suit against Andrew, alleging that he sexually abused her three times when she was a minor. Andrew settled the case out of court via a reported $10 million dollar payout while maintaining his innocence.

It is thought the Queen and Prince Charles contributed to his settlement cash fund. The disgraced royal was front and center this week, escorting his mother to Prince Philip’s memorial. Some are dismayed that Andrew will use the event as a means of returning to public life. But there are fresh questions about his affairs that could torpedo that hope.

Royal Family News: Prince Andrew’s Affairs Are Scrutinized

Nebahat Isbilen, “claims to have been scammed out of a fortune by a dishonest businessman, was allegedly tricked into giving the Duke of York money ‘by way of payment for assistance’ with her passport, a court heard.”

Apparently, “The prince has since repaid the cash after she alleged it was a scam. She said she had been hoodwinked by a middleman.”

Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson have been named as having received “substantial sums.” There is no suggestion of wrongdoing on their part.

Royal Family News – Prince Andrew Has Another Scandal

Andrew has not spoken out about the latest scandal attached to his name, “the mystery over the £750,000 – or of how he became involved.”

The outlet reports that “The complex case is ongoing, no trial has taken place and the allegations have not been resolved. But in preliminary hearings, it was alleged that substantial sums were paid to the Duke and Duchess of York,” in a court case, “brought by Mrs. Isbilen, the wealthy wife of a Turkish MP jailed in their homeland in what was said to be a politically motivated imprisonment.” Needless to say, depute the eventual outcome of the matter, the optics are terrible for Andrew at this point in time.
