Prince Charles reportedly accused his younger brother Prince Andrew of “spreading poison” about his wife Camilla before they got married. The Prince of Wales tied the knot with Camilla (then Parker Bowles) in 2005, and she reportedly had a tense relationship with the Duke of York. According to Charles biographer, Tom Bower, both the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Charles were convinced Andrew “had been spreading poison” about Camilla to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
Mr Bower wrote in the 2018 biography: “Mindful of Diana’s prediction on Panorama that he would never be King, Charles convinced himself that even Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson, were hatching plans to replace him as heir.”
Mr Bower claims Mark Bolland, who acted as Charles’ spin doctor said: “Andrew wanted to be me.
“I should have let him work with me. Now he’s unhelpful.”
A source told the Daily Mail that Camilla also “hasn’t forgotten” how “deeply unhelpful” Andrew was when she was trying to gain acceptance into the Royal Family.

The insider said: “Camilla has always felt Andrew could have done more.
“The Queen listens to Andrew and he could have helped his brother at a time when he had few allies within the family.
“In fact, I would go so far as to say he was deeply unhelpful when support would have meant a huge amount to her and the Prince.
“Looking back to when there was little public sympathy for Charles and Camilla, if not open hostility, it was a case of Andrew playing politics. Camilla hasn’t forgotten.”

But Andrew isn’t the only one to dislike his brother’s spouse.
Prince Charles is reportedly not a fan of the Duke of York’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
During Charles’ youngest son Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018, Sarah, commonly known as Fergie, was not invited to the private reception.
The Duchess of York is said to have been “deeply upset” to be excluded from the “inner sanctum” evening reception at Frogmore House, at which the guest list was controlled by Prince Charles.
Prince Harry reportedly had to intervene against the wishes of his family to make sure Fergie was invited to his wedding.
Sarah was the only member of the York family not invited, with Prince Andrew and daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice on the list.
The Daily Mail reported the Duchess has been complaining about this “to anyone who will listen”.
The publication quoted a source: “Numbers are limited to the evening party.
“She is not a member of the Royal Family any more and Prince Charles simply doesn’t have time for her.
“He just can’t see why she is still such a big part of his brother’s life.”
