Prince George to ‘celebrate his sixth birthday with the Magic Circle’

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have booked magicians from prestigious  events company Magic Circle to perform at Prince George’s sixth birthday party, an insider has claimed.

The young royal, who celebrates his birthday today, is said to be a big fan of magic and will mark turning six with a themed bash at Kensington Palace.

A source told the Sun that magicians from the Magic Circle have been booked as entertainment for celebrations, which will also include a ‘royal bouncy castle’, and will reportedly take place when he returns from his current holiday, thought to be in Mustique.

George’s party is said to feature a guest list including his school friends from Thomas’s Battersea, and his cousin Mia Tindall, five, as she and George have become ‘inseparable chums’.

An insider said: ‘School friends from Thomas’s Battersea will be in attendance plus Maud Windsor, Lord Freddie Windsor’s daughter. She is also a pupil at Thomas’s.’

The Magic Circle, founded in Soho, London in 1905, is an elite group dedicated to promoting the art of magic.

Prince George’s grandfather Charles became an honourary member of the Magic Circle in 1975, after performing a traditional buskers cup and ball trick.

The date of the magic-themed party is unknown but it is likely to be when George and his family return from Mustique in the Caribbean, where it is believed he spent his birthday.

In the snap, the future king laughs as he lies playfully in the garden of their home at Kensington Palace – clad in the white England football home shirt.

A second photograph again shows George in the shirt, grinning gleefully at the camera, while a third picture shows the young prince on a family holiday just a few days ago.

Royal officials have not confirmed where the family are, although reports suggest they may have flown with Kate’s family to the exclusive Caribbean island of Mustique.

Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, who is third in line to the throne, was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, at 4.24pm on July 22 2013, weighing 8lb 6oz.

A great-grandchild to the Queen, he will be the 43rd monarch since William the Conqueror obtained the crown of England if, as expected, he follows the reigns of his grandfather, the Prince of Wales, and then his father, William.

The date of the magic-themed party is unknown but it is likely to be when George and his family return to London (Pictured, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, George and Queen Elizabeth II during Trooping of the Colour in 2015)
