Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to leave their £11million California mansion because they are ‘not over the moon’ with it, reports say.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly looking to move from their nine-bedroom property in the exclusive neighbourhood of Montecito after just 18 months as they do not like its location.
Insiders have claimed the couple are now looking at other places to raise their children Archie, two, and Lilibet, six months.
It comes after they spent their first Christmas as a family in the sprawling mansion, even showing a glimpse of their baby Lilibet for the first time on their Christmas card.

The property also boasts a wine cellar, play area and pub games room and a separate guesthouse
A source told the Daily Mirror: ‘They are thinking of selling their house there. However, it won’t be on the market because of who they are.
‘It’s only being shown to people who are confirmed with funds and are serious buyers.’
The insider added: ‘They want to stay in the neighbourhood or nearby but they aren’t over the moon about the house and the location.’
The couple bought their mansion, which boasts 16 bathrooms, in Montecito, California, last year after quitting frontline royal duties and moving to the US.
The keys to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor were later handed to Princess Eugenie, who is living there with husband Jack Brooksbank and their son August.
Surrounded by lush green gardens and overlooking the sea, the couple’s Californian home has a wine cellar, play area and a pub games room.
The home also boasts a gym, spa, cinema, separate guesthouse, tennis court, and a swimming pool.
The previous owner of the Chateau of Riven Rock – as their new home is known – was Russian businessman Sergey Grishin – who purchased the property in 2009.
Grishin is also the former owner of a different California estate – known as the Scarface mansion because it appeared in the 1983 Al Pacino movie – which sold for a similarly cut-price $12million in 2015.
In August, Meghan Markle offered fans a rare glimpse inside the Californian mansion during a message shared on her 40th birthday.
The Duchess of Sussex also showed the inside of the Californian mansion during an appearance on America’s Got Talent.
The latest reports comes just weeks after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared the first photo of their daughter Lilibet Diana, six months after she was born, on their Christmas card.
The family portrait, by Alexi Lubomirski, showed Meghan, 40, holding up their giggling daughter, while a smiling Harry, 37, looked on with his arm around their two-year-old son Archie.

The Sussexes released the card to announce they had made a donation to several charities, including an organisation that supports Afghan families left behind after the US withdrawal and Paid Leave For All, in line with the Duchess’ recent campaigning for a paid family leave law for all Americans.
‘This year we welcomed out daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a “Mama and Papa” and Lili made us a family,’ their message read.
‘As we look forward to 2022 we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families – from those being relocated from Afghanistan to American famiilies in need of paid parental leave.’
Mr Lubomirski later took to Instagram to share his work alongside the message: ‘The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archie and Lilibet. This is one of those rare and special projects, that one is fortunate enough to be a part of.
‘To be able to continue the story of this family whom I first photographed as an engaged couple, then on the day of their wedding, as a married couple and now seeing their love manifest into two beautiful children, has been a delightful honour.
‘Anyone who has seen my #allloveseries, will know that one of the greatest joys I receive from photography, is when I am able to photograph “love” in some form or another.
‘To be trusted by your subjects enough, to open themselves up and have their connection documented and translated into an image, is one of the greatest gifts a photographer can have.
‘This day with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was one such joyous experience, and one that I feel extremely privileged to have been invited to capture. X’
