Prince Harry has made a “‘significant gesture” towards “deconflict” with the Royal Family. Prince Harry has offered to share his diary dates with the Royal Family in a what appears to be a major de-escalation of his ongoing feud with his father, King Charles.

Representatives of the monarch and his son reportedly met for peace talks earlier this month. Prince Harry’s offer is believed to be a bid to “deconflict” his engagements with that of the Royal Family.

The offer has also reportedly have been extended to Prince William and Kensington Palace amid Harry’s ongoing feud with Wills, too. “Before that meeting between their aides in London, conflicts of interest or clashes of publicity were relished and even perhaps encouraged by the Sussexes,” a source said.

“Now, Harry has shifted into a new way of thinking. The tone is now all about ‘deconflicting’ with his family,” they explained.

“That’s why his household agreed to draw up a ‘grid’ of his activities and share them with Buckingham Palace, and by extension with Kensington Palace,” the source told the Daily Mail.

“Harry still doesn’t like being controlled by the Royal machinery, and that won’t change,” they explained.

Instead, it would most likely allow the Royal Family to have “full sight” of the Duke’s plans and “plan accordingly”. “It’s a significant gesture,” the source concluded.

It was seen as a breakthrough of sorts for Prince Harry, who has been trying for some time to reconnect with his family.

He told the BBC in May: “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight any more. As I said, life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has. He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff. But it would be nice to reconcile.”

Prince Harry and Meghan were financially supported by the King, including when they moved to California, before they were able to strike it on their own by signing lucrative contracts with Netflix and Spotify.

Their rumoured $30m deal with Spotify ended in 2023 after just one series by Meghan.

In September, their five-year partnership with Netflix, signed through the couple’s production company Archewell and believed to be worth $150m, comes to an end and isn’t being renewed.
