Prince Harry says Donald Trump has ‘blood on his hands’ in leaked phone call

Prince Harry has blasted Donald Trump in a secretly recorded phone conversation, claiming the US President ‘has blood on his hands’ and is one of the ‘sick people’ running the world.

Russian hoaxers telephoned the prince at his luxury hideaway in Canada on two separate occasions earlier this year and duped him into believing he was chatting with environmental activist Greta Thunberg and her father, Svante.

In the bombshell conversations, Harry hit out at the commander-in-chief for his environmental policies, stating: ‘I think the mere fact that Donald Trump is pushing the coal industry is so big in America, he has blood on his hands’.

He later added: ‘Unfortunately the world is being led by some very sick people so the people like yourselves and younger generation are the ones that are going to make all the difference.’

Meanwhile, Harry also told the fake Greta that she could ‘outsmart’ the commander-in-chief – with whom she publicly sparred last year after he criticized her for being named Time magazine’s ‘Person of The Year’.

The two phone conversations between Harry and the pranksters took place on New Year’s Eve and January 22, according to The Sun.

Russian hoaxers Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov —  known as Vovan and Lexus – phoned the landline at Harry’s luxury home om Vancouver Island where he is currently holed up with wife, Meghan Markle, and their son, Archie.

The duo allegedly pretended to be Greta and Svante Thunberg and were transferred through to the prince.

During one of the conversations Harry told the fake Greta that she should continue to push for climate justice, stating: ‘The more people say no to something, the more we should knuckle down and try and make it happen because, you know, if Donald Trump can become President of the United States of America, then anything’s possible, right?’

He added: ‘I think there are some good leaders, political leaders around the world, and at the moment it’s severely unbalanced and in favor of bad leaders.

‘And now I’m confident within the next five to 10 years things will change, but we can’t wait five or 10 years.’

Meanwhile, Harry went on to claim that Trump’s support of the coal industry was negatively impacting island nations that he and Meghan had visited.

‘The effect that [Trump’s coal policy] has on the climate and the island nations far, far away, again out of sight out of mind,’ Harry stated.

‘But we’ve [he and Meghan] visited those places and I’m sure you have as well. People’s lives have been completely destroyed.

‘People are dying every single month by some form of natural disaster created from this huge change in our climate’.

However, Harry told the fake Greta that she should not turn down an opportunity to meet with Trump if asked.

‘Trump will want to meet you to make him look better but he won’t want to have a discussion about climate change with you because you will outsmart him.

‘Whether you have an option to meet President Trump or an option to meet Boris Johnson, I think I would always,’ Harry stated according to The Sun.

‘It’s far more important to have an open dialogue and have conversation with these people than not.

Prince Harry himself met with Trump during his visit to the United Kingdom last June.

However, Meghan Markle was accused of ‘snubbing’ a meeting with the US president, after earlier calling him a ‘misogynist’ and ‘divisive’.

Back in 2016, Meghan, who is a US citizen, stated: ‘I’m voting for Hillary Clinton, not because she is a woman, but because Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world that he’s painting.’

According to reports, Meghan and Harry are also reluctant to move to the United States while Trump is still president, choosing to relocate to Canada after their split from the Royal Family.

Meanwhile, Trump has also been a critic of Meghan in the past, but has denied describing her as ‘nasty’.

Back in 2018, the President also missed out on an invite to Harry and Meghan’s Royal Wedding.

Prince Harry is close with Barack and Michelle Obama – but also refrained from inviting them to the event in the interest of appearing politically neutral.
