Ahead of Anne’s appearance the official royal family Instagram account shared a look back at some of her greatest fashion moments.

Nine of Princess Anne’s most memorable looks were shared to mark the occasion, ranging from casual shirts to show-stopping hats.

While the princess was more experimental with style as a young woman, in recent years she has become known for her thrifty approach to fashion and is often seen re-wearing favourite pieces from her wardrobe.
