Princess Charlotte has asked for a pony for Christmas, according to new reports.
The young royal, 4, is said to be ‘obsessed with horses’ just like her great grandmother the Queen, 93, who is regularly seen riding.
However Prince William, 37, is reportedly hesitant about giving his daughter a pony, because he thinks she is too young.
Meanwhile Charlotte’s older brother George, 6, has reportedly developed a passion for sports, and is keen to get a new tennis racket and football table for Christmas.

A source told Closer magazine: ‘Charlotte takes after Queen Elizabeth and is obsessed with horses.
‘She’s asked for a pony, but might have to wait until next year because William thinks she’s too young.’
‘George is really into tennis and has asked for a new racket and a football table.

‘They’ll both be receiving children’s cookery sets because they love making a mess in the kitchen!’
The Queen herself received a Shetland pony called Peggy at the age of four, and begin riding aged six.
The monarch is a seasoned equestrian and has a passion for the races, having earned a staggering £7,768,448 in winnings from her horses over the last 31 years.

The royal has won 534 races from 3,205 runs over her career as a racehorse owner, across both the flat and jump races in the UK and Ireland.
The Royal Family are well-known for their love of horses and the Queen has demonstrated her own passion for it, securing her first win as an owner when Choir Boy won the Royal Hunt Cup in 1953.
The most profitable year came in 2016, a record year in terms of winnings, with her horses earning £560,274 across the flat and jump seasons dating back to 1988, when records began, with Carlton House her top-earning horse across this period with £772,815 in winnings.
