Private equity real estate platform DFI and Argo Real Estate have rebranded their UK logistics and industrial joint venture (JV) as Intown Logistics.

Established in 2023, the JV comprises around 1m sq ft of space across 11 assets located in prime, urban logistics and industrial hubs, including London the South East and Trafford Park in Manchester.

The portfolio is let to over 50 diverse occupiers including Amazon, Royal Mail and Greencore.

The two firms added that urban logistics remained a high conviction asset class, underpinned by strong occupier fundamentals, low vacancy rates and a limited pipeline of new development.

Jonni Glick, DFI director, said: “The new Intown brand gives the platform a clearer identity within the market as we consider future options while continuing to build out the portfolio and delivering further income growth.”

Crispin Gandy, chief executive at Argo Real Estate, added: “The JV’s assets are located in some of the UK’s strongest urban logistics markets where quality space is scarce and demand is broad based.

“We are continuing our strategy of refurbishing assets with tenants in situ, transforming them into best-in-class sustainable properties and delivering superior risk adjusted returns in the process.”
