Pub will set up ‘giant alpine tipi’ decked out like a Swiss chalet for Christmas

A LAKES pub will set up a ‘giant heated tipi’ decked out like a Swiss chalet in its garden for Christmas.

The Hare and Hounds in Bowland Bridge will start putting events on at the tipi from December 5 until Christmas Eve, offering food courses that will be on every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Guests will enjoy fondue, raclette, mulled wine and a fire pit inside the tipi.

There will also be workshops including stairplace and fireplace Garland making, Christmas table setting and centrepiece class and how to prepare and cook the perfect turkey.

The tipi has a capacity of 32 guests per event and those booking can hire the entire structure or reserve for parties of two or more.
