Quickmove Properties goes on skydive and trek for Alzheimers charity

The dedicated team from Quickmove Properties, based in Royal Wootton Bassett, recently took on an arduous 13-mile trek from Gloucestershire to Wiltshire as part of the Walk to Remember event.

The challenging expedition aimed to raise funds for the charity Alzheimer’s Support, whose invaluable services provide aid and companionship to those affected by the disease.

The 13-mile trek commenced in the scenic town of Lechlade in Gloucestershire, then followed along the Thames Path, before finishing in Cricklade.

The team’s efforts were not in vain, however, as they managed to raise roughly £5,500 for the charity.

This isn’t their first fundraising effort for the charity either, as three members of the Quickmove Properties team took their bravery to new heights with a death-defying skydive over Wiltshire earlier this year.

The adrenaline-fueled adventure not only tested their nerve but also allowed them to gather support and donations, resulting in an additional £3,823 being raised for Alzheimer’s Support.

This brings their total to £9,346 for the year of efforts so far.

Alzheimer’s Support requires an annual fundraising target of £300,000 to sustain its important programs and these donations are vital to reaching that financial target.

“We want to make sure this happens,” said a representative from the Quickmove Properties team.
