Radio 1 DJs Nick Grimshaw and Greg James found after epic game of hide and seek

Radio presenters Nick Grimshaw and Greg James have found after the world’s biggest game of hide and seek.

This afternoon, the potential location of their hideaway was narrowed down to one of four locations, with Plymouth being on that list.

Newquay and Southend were both ruled out as potential locations by the duo shortly before Plymouth was axed from the list.

It was then revealed that the DJs were in fact at Weston-Super-Mare – in the South Tower of the town’s famous pier.

Earlier in the day Lego Masters presenter Melvin Odoom predicted that the duo were hiding out in Plymouth’s Drake Circus.

He tweeted: “I have another theory for  #hideandseek   @Gregjames  &  @grimmers  confirmed they’re on the coast & that one of the initials on the plane ‘WTP’ stood for Winnie for Poo.

“Grimmy did an interview with Drake about his obsession with WTP & there is a place in Plymouth called Drake Circus!”

A woman named Emma Harbor also bought into that theory.

She replied to his tweet saying: “And it closes at 6pm, around the time they needed to be quiet yesterday!

“It also says that it has 3.4m visitors a year. Divide that by 365 and it gives you 9,315, almost the 10,000 people passing that they mentioned!

“And there’s a Nando’s and a McDonald’s right next to each other less than a minute away from Drake Circus.”

The reason people thought that Cornwall could have been the location were as follows:

First, fans saw a plane carrying a mysterious coded banner. It ended with EM, F & TM, WTP and DK.

It was confirmed that F&TM means Florence and the Machine and WTP means Winnie The Pooh.

Florence is playing at Boardmasters this summer and many people on twitter are suggesting that there is a Winnie The Pooh Boat in Newquay .

The location was near to a drive thru McDonald’s, with Nick sneaking out to complete their breakfast order in the back of a van.

BBC Radio Cornwall were also on the receiving end of a very suspicious postcard from Nick and Greg this morning.

Breakfast presenters James Churchfield and Julie Skentelbery said it arrived via Royal Mail special delivery on Wednesday morning.
