The coin has been listed on eBay for £500, ten times its original value.
It is described as a “must-have for enthusiasts”, celebrating the “beloved bear’s adventures in London”.
The coin was minted in 2019 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic British Bear.
Designed by David Knapton, the coin features a design of Paddington based on the CGI-live action movie in front of St Paul’s Cathedral.
The other side features Queen Elizabeth II.

The item has been listed for as high as £20,000 in the past.

Other Paddington Bear 50p coins were also minted, which show the bear in front of other iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London.
It can be collected in person in Bolton or delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery for free.
The seller has said that no returns are accepted.
