Recap: Paramedics and police called to Hanley

Emergency services were called at 6.40am. A spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police said: “We went to Tontine Street in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, after concerns were raised for the safety of a man.

“Colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended and a man was taken to hospital.”

The ambulance service say the incident happened at a private address.
