Requests for public assistance up in New Hampshire (AP via Yahoo! Finance)

New Hampshire public assistance offices have been so busy lately, they’re changing the way they do business. People applying for food stamps, Medicaid and financial assistance will no longer have to wait in line at state district offices, but will instead get an appointment.
