Residents brave long lines, heat for disaster food stamps (WWL-TV, Channel 4 New Orleans)

The lines were long and the heat was rising for those waiting to apply for disaster food stamps across the metropolitan area. But once applicants, which numbered near the thousands, got inside of the building to apply, they said the rest was a breeze.
