Residents living on Brockhill East estate, Redditch get post box

The confirmation came from Royal Mail who wrote to Redditch MP, Rachel Maclean to confirm they will install the post box within 12 to 16 weeks.

It follows a resident contacting councillor for Batchley and Brockhill, Lucy Harrison, to ask if post boxes could be installed on the Brockhill East development.

Ms Maclean said: “This is a great example of working together to get things done to deliver for residents.

“Thank you to Lucy Harrison for being such a pro-active and hard-working councillor.”

Cllr Lucy Harrison said: “Thanks to Rachel for contacting Royal Mail to clarify the process for getting a post box installed – it has been great to have her support and swift action on this matter.

“Sometimes it is what seems like simple things that can make a difference to residents.

“We will be making sure Royal Mail follow this through and confirm where exactly the post box will be installed.”
