Responsible pet ownership is key to keeping Augusta children and carriers safe

Augusta, Kan. — The Augusta Post Office is asking for the public’s support in keeping their dogs restrained year round; for the safety of letter carriers and the community. Nationwide 5,577 mail carriers were attacked by dogs last year, including 39 in Kansas.
