Revealed: Which of the Royal residences are the most ‘instagramable’

With Her Majesty The Queen vacating her 828,821 square-foot palace and relocating just a little over an hour down the road to Windsor Castle, HeatingForce.co.uk wanted to see which UK Royal lived in the most ‘instagramable’ home.

The palace, set in Kensington Gardens, is home to many of the Royals, from Wills and Kate, Princess Eugenie, and her husband Jack Christopher Stamp Brooksbank, to Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

The property is 1,179 square-foot bigger than Buckingham Palace – so at least there’s enough room for little Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to run around.

Home to Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy, Richmond Park comes in second place with 360,000 hashtags.

Only 5,000 hashtags lower than her cousin Princess Alexandra, the monarch’s new home Windsor Castle comes in at third place with 355,000 hashtags.

The Mail:

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, may be top of the Royal food chain but the same cannot be said for their Instagram status.

They should have stayed put in Buckingham Palace as that comes in with a whopping 1.2million hashtags.

Looking to the bottom of the rankings, coming in sixth place is St James’s Palace with 7,300 hashtags.

This palace is home to Princess Beatrice and her new beau, Edoardo Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi.

The Mail:

The Gatcombe Park Estate comes in seventh place with 1,000 hashtags.

The beautiful 700-acre estate is home to the Queen’s daughter, Anne Princess Royal, and her husband Sir Timothy Laurence.

They share the estate with Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Tindall, and her husband Mike Tindall, as well as her son Peter Phillips.

In last place is Bagshot Park with only 185 hashtags. This property is home to Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex (the Queen’s son) and his wife Sophie Countess of Wessex, along with their two children Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn.
