If you’re enjoying being bedded into the Apple ecosystem you might well find that you have a lot of charges and cables strewn around your home. They sure do stack up over time. But Belkin might just have the solution for you with the Boost Charge Pro.
The device is a one-stop power shop for your iPhone and Airpods and Apple Watch. It will set you back £139.99 so it’s not cheap, but when you first open it you can detect the usual Belkin quality. It’s hefty and it’s built to last.
The charger comes in black or white, and is MagSafe certified, which means it does not work great with older phones but will charge like a beat on a newer one (at least and iPhone 12). The charging pad for the iPhone is also lifted slightly so the big camera on the 14 isn’t a problem.
In the middle is a space where you can charge the Airpods case, but it’s the far right charging puck for the Apple Watch where it gets interesting. The puck will fast-charge Series 7 and beyond, and flips up for nightstand mode. Underneath you can also make changes to its levitation depending on what size of watch you have.
The stand plugs into the wall, so it can’t be plugged into a computer as it draws far too much power. So, is the Belkin Boost Charge Pro worth the money? It honestly depends on the age of the Apple kit you already have, so do you have at last an iPhone 12 or a Series 7 watch.
Essentially you need this up-to-date kit to get the most out of it. As mentioned, the build quality is excellent (what you would expect from a Belkin device). The sleek design looks great on a bedside table or desk and can easily be packed away, so it’s ideal for travel.
