Road closed after pedestrian and car collide near Broadclyst post office

There was slow traffic in Broadcylst following a crash this morning, Wednesday, October 23. According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the B3181 was closed in both directions.

The crash took place near the Broadclyst Stores and Post Office. A pedestrian was rushed to hospital after a collision with a car, having suffered serious injuries.

The road reopened and traffic returned to normal by 10.40am. Inrix said: “B3181 in both directions closed, slow traffic due to accident from Town Hill to Church Lane.”
