In light of this, the Hospital Infection Prevention and Control Unit at Royal Care Super Specialty Hospital recently conducted a certification program on “Surface Cleaning and Disinfection in Healthcare Facilities,” in collaboration with the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO).
Effective implementation of cleaning and surface disinfection within the framework of a healthcare facility’s infection control program is essential. This hands-on training program equips participants with multimodal strategies to ensure a clean and safe environment for patient care.
More than 75 members from various hospitals in and around Coimbatore participated in the program and benefited from the training.
