Royal Cars waives booking fees for Christmas

Royal Cars taxi’s are offering a discount on its services over the Christmas period.

The company has taken the decision not to charge the usual £2 extra per booking in order help ‘loyal customers get around during this difficult time’.

This extra cost had previously been in place on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the new year celebrations.

It will also be offering a further £1 discount on every booking on Christmas day to further help people visiting their loved ones.

The company will compensate all the drivers of this £1 so no financial burden is placed on their drivers.

A spokesperson for the company added: “We have doing some bits throughout the pandemic to help within the community, for example we ran a fundraiser to pay for taxis for front line NHS staff to get around for work.

“We helped the elderly and vulnerable collect their shopping, our drivers picked up their groceries at click and collect and delivered to the customers free of charge.

“We also offered free taxis to the elderly and vulnerable to go viist loved ones or attend hospital appointments.”
